This popular excursion takes us through the beautiful Berkshire and Wiltshire countryside before we head out through the magnificent Cotswold scenery to arrive at Gloucester. Gloucester offers much for the visitor with its magnificent Cathedral having featured in the Harry Potter movies as well as being the burial place of murdered King Edward II. There has also been a lot of development in the city with the recently restored 200 year old docks featuring prominently.
We depart London Waterloo around 0910hrs and head out via Slough (1025hrs), Maidenhead and Reading (1050hrs). from here we take the Great Western Main Line to Swindon where we diverge and head across country via Kemble and Stroud to arrive into Gloucester around 1330hrs.
Our return departs from Gloucester at approximately 1740hrs travelling via the same route as outward. We arrive at Reading to set passengers down at 2015hrs, Maidenhead (2040hrs), Slough (2050hrs) and London Waterloo (2209hrs).
