A day out to the Lincoln Christmas fair is sure to yield those hard to find presents and special gifts for family and friends alike.

We depart from London's Kings Cross station around 0920hrs taking the direct route along the East Coast Main Line picking up at Potters Bar (0945hrs) and Stevenage (1005hrs). From Peterborough we head across the Fens via Spalding to arrive into Lincoln at approximately 1300hrs.

After time for visiting the market and the stunning Cathedral and train departs from Lincoln around 1830hrs. Our return route takes us back via Newark and Grantham ensuring a fast run back to London retracing our outward route south of Peterborough. We call again at Stevenage around 2045hrs, Potters Bar (2105hrs) and return back into Kings Cross at approximately 2130hrs.

Our train is steam hauled throughout by Southern Railway Pacific 34067 Tangmere.
