A popular Christmas trip, we travel along the south western main line before visiting the intimate setting of Sherborne Abbey for a magical carol concert.

We depart from London Waterloo at 1010hrs running via Staines to pick up passengers at Woking around 1120hrs. We then run fast to Salisbury before heading out on the picturesque route via Gillingham and Templecombe before arriving at Sherborne around 1400hrs station. Our train then continues on to Yeovil for servicing.

With around three and a half hours in Sherborne to enjoy the carol concert and the delights of this rural location we rejoin our train around 1730hrs and head back towards Salisbury and on towards London. Dropping off passengers at Woking at 2045hrs we then head on the fast route to London via Surbiton and Wimbledon to arrive back into London Waterloo at 2120hrs.

Our train will be steam hauled throughout by King Arthur Class loco 30777 Sir Lamiel.
