Our final train of 2008 is a relaxing luncheon tour taking in the fabulous scenery of Kent where we travel right along the foot of Dover's famous White Cliffs.

We depart London Victoria around 1030hrs and call at Bromley South (app.1055hrs), and Tonbridge (app.1130hrs). We then take a fast run to Ashford before heading east to Canterbury and Deal. We then head through Dover and run along the coast where on a clear day its possible to see the French coast. We plunge through the tunnels at the bottom of the White Cliffs before emerging near the large construction that supports the Channel Tunnel.

We rejoin our outward route at Ashford calling at Tonbridge (app.1530hrs), Bromley South (app.1600hrs) and returning to London Victoria around 1630hrs.

Our train is hauled throughout by Southern Railway Pacific 34067 Tangmere.
