Traditionally our first Carol Concert special of the season, Ely is one of our most popular trips of the year and gives the chance to view the stunning Octagon tower flooding light into the Cathedral below.
We depart from London Kings Cross around 1030hrs taking a route up the East Coast Main Line calling at Potters Bar (1055hrs) and Stevenage (1115hrs) before taking the route via Royston and Cambridge to arrive at Ely around 1300hrs.
Our return journey leaves Ely around 1730hrs retracing our route back to the capital calling at Stevenage (1900hrs), Potters Bar (1925hrs) and into Kings Cross station around 1950hrs.
Our train will be hauled throughout by Southern Railway Pacific 34067 Tangmere.
