A return to one of the original itineraries which featured  when The Cathedrals Express launched, Salisbury is one of the most magnificent destinations in the UK. We have improved on this already glorious destination by taking our train back to London via the scenic route via Havant and Haslemere, known to railwayman in the area as the 'Pompeii Direct'.

We depart London's Waterloo station at 1110hrs heading out to collect passengers at Staines (1200hrs) and Woking (1230hrs). From here we head via the main line to Salisbury arriving in at approximately 1340hrs.

There are almost four hours to enjoy the many interesting and varied delights of Salisbury before rejoining the train around 1730hrs. We take the route via Eastleigh and skirt Portsmouth passing through Havant where we head for London via Haslemere and Guildford. We set down passengers again at Woking at 1945hrs, Staines at 2015hrs and into London Waterloo at 2045hrs.
