A choice of dining options in the best railway tradition

food_1.jpgThe ?Cathedrals Express? offers railway travel at its best and allows you to not only enjoy a relaxing journey but also to have a sumptuous meal, served to you while on the move.

In the best traditions of great journeys the world over we offer a full dining service, entertaining you in one of our luxurious dining cars with crisp tablecloths, flowers and attractively-prepared tables. Our train has its own specialist onboard kitchen where our chef prepares fresh meals, and our friendly staff will tend to your needs at your table.

A tasty traditional cooked breakfast is served on early trains and a lighter brunch offer is available on mid-morning departures. Once you are settled at your table for the return journey, we serve a lavish three-course meal.

Dedicated wine waiters are on hand to take your drinks order for our licensed bar and bring them to your table. Be it a bottle of Champagne for a special occasion, a relaxing gin and tonic, or a refreshing fruit juice, we have an extensive range to suit all tastes. We are also happy to discuss special requests. Our main catering options are outlined below.
