Although Chichester Cathedral was completed in 1108 it is famous for its modern art with a window by Chagall, a tapestry by Piegar and a painting by Graham Sutherland which sit alongside the 12th century Lazarus Reliefs. The Carol service is always popular and the nearby shops and restaurants offer plenty to see and do during the afternoon.
Our train departs from London Victoria station around 1000hrs and pciks up at East Croydon (1030hrs) and Redhill (1100hrs). We then head south along the Brighton Main Line through Haywards Heath and the famous Balcombe viaduct before branching west just before Brighton to head via the scenic sussex coast line to Chichester arriving around 1315hrs. Our return journey is via the same route departing Chichester around 1700hrs and heading north we arrive back into Redhill around 1915hrs. We set down further passengers at East Croydon (1945hrs) before arriving back into London Victoria at approximately 2015hrs.
