The City of Dreaming Spires’ is a must-see destination with its world-famous university and the Bodleian Library (which claims to purchase every book published in the UK), part of Britain’s oldest museum – the Ashmolean. Add to this a bustling shopping centre, the beautiful River Thames winding through the city and lovely parks and gardens and the main problem will be deciding how to spend your time in Oxford.

It is possible to visit most of the University Colleges, Museums and Galleries and there are also two-hour walking tours of the city which include visits to college and university sites.

Just a short note to thank you for a great day out on "The Norfolkman" from London Liverpool Street to Norwich and back on 9th September 2008. - A great day out and a great train. - I am no "Steam Buff" but it seems to me that "Oliver Cromwell" 70013 is quite an engine! Most of all a big thank you to your staff who looked after me and my 83 year-old father in carriage B (seats 7 R & F) - your kindness and attentiveness could not have been better and made the day for us. For anyone looking for a day out I thoroughly recommend you and your "Premier Dining" Service in particular.Best Regards,NS
