The mediaeval city of Salisbury is dominated by the cathedral spire, the tallest in England. The water meadows around the cathedral have been immortalised by Constable and the cathedral houses one of the few copies of the Magna Carta, as well as being a most elegant building.
There is much to do and see – shopping in the bustling High Street, walking or riding on a horse and cart around ‘Constable’s Salisbury’ or visiting the many museums and art galleries.
It is possible to arrange a special coach excursion to Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Wilton (home to the famous carpet factory and 9th century Wilton House). The £15 supplement includes entry to Stonehenge. Please ask the Booking Office for details.

I just wanted to you to know how much pleasure traveling on 11/9 from Waterloo to Bristol gave us. Our party of 4 have traveled with you several times recently and always enjoyed ourselves but this time it was even more special. Oliver Cromwell seemed to perform so effortlessly and the new caterers did an excellent job and the staff, all of them, were so courteous and helpful at all times. Keep up the good work. AD 11-9-08
