A new itinerary for Steam Dreams in 2008 combines two of our popular destinations and makes for a wonderful day out through some of England's most beautiful countryside. We depart London's Victoria station around 09.00 and head out through the suburbs calling at Clapham Jn (0915), Staines (0930), Ascot (1000) and Reading (1030). After travelling via Newbury and and Westbury we call at Castle Cary (1200) station for a road connection for those wishing to visit Wells. We then continue on to the West Somerset Railway via Taunton and arrive into MInehead around 1430hrs.

We make our return from Minehead departing around 1730hrs traversing the picturesque West Somerset Railway and then heading east towards London. Our first call is at Castle Cary (1930) to collect passengers returning from Wells and we then return via our outward route setting down at Reading (2100), Ascot (2130) Staines (2155), Clapham Junction (2215) and into London Victoria around 2230hrs.
